The problem is that I'm 67 years old now, and the truck is fairly low. I used to be able to squat/bend down pretty easily, but now it is just easier to go down on one knee to fill it
It just looked really low., I resemble that not being able to squat down thing just having turned 75 a week ago. I've got a F150 tank that I took off a truck that I snagged a nine inch rear end out of that I keep eyeballing as it has a filler neck that runs to the driver's side. I'd have to put a gas door in the fender or just do a bit of work to move the spot around the filler neck on a cab to the fender and make a stock looking fender mount filler out of it. Like on a 40 Ford, if it looks like it was there in the first place no one notices.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
