Re: 48 3600 eyesore.

Well the S10 is finally home and in its resting place until I get back. Just looking into the issue of why the engine is seized. I have a few ideas for it but if they don't fix the issue then either swapping engines with a early 80's 305, rebuilding this one or getting a new one with warranty. Either way I need to do something to get it running so i can enjoy the s10 while doing body work.

Also any ideas on why the engine would be seized are greatly appreciated. Was told it ran rough when they bought it and they did a complete tune up. Then it ran great for about 2 weeks and started having issues again. The PO was told the timing chain jumped a tooth or sprocket (sounds odd to me) so they replaced that. Then the first time out after that it died but didn't make any unusual sounds. Now it doesn't start. They did think it was an electrical issue and they went through that and found no issues and the a/c doesnt work but not sure where the issue is on that.
