Re: Door alignment help

it looks like the gap at the top is pretty good, kinda hard to tell at the rear because the door isn't closed all the way. if the fender is sticking out past the door then you could check if the fender is shimmed at the lower mount. if so try removing some shims. if the body line on the fender doesn'y line up top to bottom then you could look for shims at the top rear corner where it mounts to the cowl. add or subtract shims there. doing the string line check would then show you if the rad support needs more or less shimming to get the body line straight.
like said, the mounts at rear of the cab and the rad support need to be in good shape/
something that I just remembered is that some fellas have installed the door seals backwards and had trouble with the doors closing and sealing. maybe something to check. there is a right and wrong way.
precision replacement parts has a youtube showing the direction they fit. I think brothers also has one.
if you gotta take the old seal off and plan to reuse it ensure you use one of those forked trim removal tools because the push pins that hold the trim to the door will stay in the door and pull out of the rubber. this sometimes tears the rubber so it would need to be replaced or glused back on the door after.
