I had bought a 1962 GMC 4x4 that had 3 16x5 clip wheels and one was slightly different and when I had the rubber removed I discovered it was 5.5 width.
It still has the clips and I think the last year for clips was 1962?

I too have a 1962 GMC that has 5 of the 3-clip variety 16" wheels, but they are 16 x 5. I researched one post on the earlier 47-59 series forum and someone mentioned they had a 16 x 5.5 wheel but that was about it.
They are a tough wheel to find and maybe more information is forthcoming on that 16 x 5.5" wheel. Thanks again
