Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside RESTO-GO!

Right.

Guess who is back in the UK??

I flew out on Virgin from Heathrow UK to Detroit (my hard case zipper halfway open when I collected my baggage to put it through for St Louis, I lost stuff but hey-ho and fixed case for next leg with big roll of box tape) then Delta Airlines to St Louis (delayed at Detroit) Virgin staff exemplary and Delta staff decent.

Return trip St Louis which is turn around spot for the Detroit flight, take off delayed by 45 minutes. This made our 90 minute lay over in Detroit a rush and walked straight onto plane elsewhere in terminal.
I also did ductape my case strategically on the return trip as I had spares and new clothes in there plus a 5 way race car oil pump for JohnnyBravon from Dennis.

When I got to baggage collection here today...... NO BAGGAGE !!

Was told by Heathrow lost baggage guy that I am not allowed to close my bag and try protect the contents from being scattered or pilfered.
Seriously tucked off by the situation. As my holiday was Spectacular.
Supposedly my baggage will be headed here tomorrow on a next flight and then delivered at home.

Back to more photos at George Poteets place.

Some of the hangars were just too big, so I did quick walk throughs.
Hope they are OK. Sound etc is not good at all but you will het the idea.
