Funny thing is..... I was just discussing this w/my buddy thats swapping a 5.3/4l60 into my old '90. He was asking about my thoughts on the FITech LS control wiring set-up which took us down the 'problems with' rabbit hole....

He was planning to re-pin & wire it himself. He's now ~15 months into the swap but hasn't even touched any wiring. The physical motor/trans are built & installed but now it's all the middle stuff (middle is different vs the 'little' stuff). I told him about what you were currently dealing with & said having access to experts is not a bad thing. Stick w/the GM stuff or if going aftermarket using a tuner friendly set-up that's actually supported.
