If you could provide more information on how your truck is set up it would help.
Any aftermarket coolers?
Where are you checking the temperature in the system?
Have you verified the accuracy of the guage?
I believe the 160 to180 degree temperatures are for the oil in the pan.
We do like pictures around here.
