My Son and I have been discussing this one. I have seen the butchered ones just to install a cassette or an old F**D radio in there and that sucks. I think that to properly "modify" the dash to install a modern standard sized DIN unit would be acceptable, I don't like it but, many of us make modifications to improve the truck. My son does not want to modify the dash and I see his point also, but what better place to put the new unit than where it is easiest to use ??? The debate goes on......
