Re: What did you do with your truck today, Part 3

My mind is blown every time I work on this hood! No kidding guys, sectioning this hood makes chopping the top look like making a PP&J sandwich! I went out there today to get the upper halves sized and marked for trimming. And then it hit me that I had to get the bottom mounted permanently first. So I started on that and then a planet from space came and hit me in the head, OMG the hinge framing of the hood is too narrow at the bottom because I trimmed it off the 2.5 inches I sectioned the hood. Well....................in doing that it was too narrow being the hood sides are at an angle, WOW. Ok, so I spent a few hours taking the hood bottom you see open off and on about 127 times to modify the lower pieces of the hood support to mate with the upper part. Now, after all that work I am thrilled with where I am at, I feel a lot better but damn this thing is something else!
Sectioning the cab wasn't even work it was so easy!
