I went the Chevy Express 2500 route. Bought it on auction from the state, high milage but you know it was maintained well on the tax payers dime! (Proof positive, the crosshatch was still in the cylinder, and no sludge anywhere in the engine!)I parted out the rest of the van and the motor and transmission ended up free! Performance parts to beat my dad's corvette down the strip. Not so much!
