Maybe look into current technology regarding fuel systems. I know the old stuff is still being pushed, there are many advantages to the newer stuff. No return line, lower amperage, no pressure regulator, fuel is not heated, no external filter, longer pump life, etc. I am using a pwm controller and stock ZL1 pump on my LS swap. A link for you
