A little off topic but that reminds me of a guy I knew. He told me this and I kind of believe it because he was the type of guy to do it.
He told me that the credit card company's kept sending him those "pre approved' offers with postage paid return envelopes. I guess they were pretty aggressive and it got on his nerves. So he would tape the return envelope to a brick and they would have to pay the postage.
