Re: Trucks Are Beautiful

I guess I go for the less known companies or the underdog. Brockways would be your local hero. We had a Mack plant in Hagerstown,MD that shut down and the main plant in Macungie,PA is not that far. Macks were so common place growing up that I took them for granted. They were always touted up,I figured mostly due to the mascot Bulldog icon. But,Mack really was a great company that built a full spectrum of trucks. I only knew them as common fleet trucks. When I went west and saw the long frame long hauler Peterbuilts and KWs I really caught the bug. Learning the history is really fascinating to me. I gotta say,I love the B Macks as much as the next guy.

Hey Powerdriver, foresight is right. And that's something that the average driver lacks out there (talkin' 4-wheelers). I guess you have to figure on dumb moves. I know I do just driving my 4-wheeler.
