The thinner rod goes to the carb. The bent flat piece bolts to the firewall and there should be 2 holes there for it unless someone filled them. The larger rod with the ball on the end goes to a stock accelerator pedal.

I have two holes but they do not match up to the new part. Plus it looks nothing like piece D on the diagram.
