Agreed. Only original paint patina is desirable to me. Even then there are some original paint patina trucks I like and some I don't.

Same here. I'm not doing the full No Limit chassis due to budget as I have a full prep Miata that will still be faster than my 65 even if I doubled my budget. I'm building my 65 for fun not to be nationally competitive.
