get a john deere or equipment firewall heater from amazon and put the old cover over it. the old ones are made for a coolant pressure between 0 and 0.1 psi, 16-19psi makes them incontinent.
not being discouraging, but it is cheaper to buy a brand new one than to retrofit the old one with a new core and new motor.
