Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew

I've spent most of the day going through this thread and a couple others. Going with a dual quad 327 and 4 speed is cool cool cool. The rolling stock choice and all. Just plain *****in. With everybody on the LS fad these days it is great to see this old school setup going in a new build. John I admire your determination. It seemed at times this rebuild would be pushed aside indefinitely while life got in the way. It's cool your son is also a gear head. He's learning some hard lessons. One of my dad's sayings I heard oh so many times was "the bought lessons you won't forget". He was right. If it costs you some pain or cash you tend to remember it better. I hope "knuckles" does take his mechanical enthusiasm to school and put it to good use. You have some serious support group too. I particularly enjoyed the 'elco' isms. Keep a hammering John. I look forward to further updates.
