Mine broke on the end that attaches to the transmission. I can still hook up the linkage, but there’s not enough of the rod left to get a good adjustment. Fabricating something like that would be way beyond my capabilities. It transitions from round hardened steel to flat stock up by the shifter. Plus you’d have to fabricate the rod end that holds the shift bushing.
