If you are keeping the drum brakes, then you can keep the original draglink, idler arm, and tie rods. If you are converting to discs, then if you keep your original steering linkage, you will need to change at least the outter tie rods. There is an off the shelf tie rod that allows you to do this without the need for the expensive adapter sleeves, but I don't have that part number. You might try posting the question, here on the forum, Someont here posted the number not long ago. I wasn't concerned with it, as I always change all the steering linkage to the later model components. That requires locating and drilling new holes for the idler are though. It isn't difficult if you just take your time and use the original for a reference.
