Might just be me, but I'd be worried about some fuel spilling out with the neck being parallel to the ground like that. Maybe you could pull the bottom of the mount out some to give it more of a downward angle right at the opening so it's less likely to have any fuel splash out?
Thanks! Input for this project is always welcome and you're right concerning the angle of that filler hose. I have fiddled with the angle and position of the filler neck bracket. It should work for now but I'm not quite done messing with it just yet. Also, the filler neck is newer type with a screw in cap that has a big sealing o-ring. I'm confident fuel spillage won't be a problem.
