The oven cleaner was in my plans until I couldn't find it in the garage and was running out of daylight. I got most of the grime off with just plain water through the pressure washer. I'm sure it would have been easier and saved some grinding if I had used the cleaner. As I said, the frame is in good shape...surprising shape for VA I'd say....Must not have seen much winter use.

I got some 20 gauge steel for my smooth cowl and some other ideas I have....
Also got some drops of 2" round pipe to run the exhaust through the rear crossmember. For future reference, go with 4"....I got 5" and will make it work and end up with good clearance for my planned 3" exhaust, but it will need to be tweaked (read: Flattened slightly) to fit within the confines of the rear crossmember.
