This has been a good read, as I work on my '64 C10 rescue down south in Eugene. I didn't see any note of late transmission changes, were you still happy with the overdrive NP833 trans? That's what's in my truck now, connected to a little 305 small block V8.

The original switch works just like it did before, and the new switch works independently to turn on the wipers and sets a delay between 3sec and 30 seconds. Totally worth the $35 or whatever.
Ahh! This could be the answer for me! Add intermittent wipers (as noted, a big plus around these parts), plus I should be able to mount the remote pot in the soon-to-be-unused choke cable hole (after the conversion to electric choke is complete). Good stuff!
