I had this issue with my self learning EFI fuel pump provided setup with the kit with an external fuel pump and it was mounted on the lowest point of my 2wd blazer frame which was level with the bottom of my fuel tank so it should have naturally had net positive suction head even with a low fuel level (with dip tube). I went from a 3/8 to 1/2 inch suction hose and a larger diameter filter to act as a reservoir. That with a higher micron filter to increase suction flow and the fuel pump you cannot hear anymore at all. The pump is mounted with a rubber clamp to the frame before and after the suction setup improvement btw. hope this helps troubleshoot the noise out a bit

Thanks a lot for the insight. I will take a look at line sizing and my filter.
