On a side note..... I attempted to slide the LSx into the truck tonight. Using some plates that have been scribed w/the typical 'LS to sbc' mount orientation, the drivetrain is pretty close. The 4l80e required removing more of the trans tunnel than I had hoped & I'm thinking I might need to get a f-body oil pan for better bottom end clearance for servicing entrance/exit.

It's a good thing these motors don't have distibutors @ the back of the manifold. The fit is tighter than my wallet .....
