I’ve always heard that it’s hard to get a good pattern on a worn set. I think it’s often recommended to pay more attention to the coast side in that case as it’s not worn as much. I’ve never had any real experience with used ones but you might want to read up on that. You may just have to to get it centered face/flank and run it.
