Re: 72 C10 for my 25th wedding anniversary

Over the weekend I was able to install the front clip back onto the truck. New cab mounts seem to work well. Seat and seat belts back in, bumpers back on, body bolts torqued to spec.
It’s so dusty it almost could pass as a “barn find”. It’s been apart for a year now, but it’s getting closer to a running truck again. I really would like to get the body work and paint done, but that is going to have to wait a year or 2. I may shoot some color on the box sides this spring, if time permits….
I still think I want this truck to be Hugger orange someday.
As it turns out, the PS pressure line fits ok after a little work, I may have to make a few tweaks, but it does clear the inner fender. The pics make it look closer than it really is, clearance is 1/4”-3/8” .
I still need to finish wiring, fans, air intake, driveshaft , hoses, etc
One day closer.
Now I need to order more parts…….
