I also like this idea. I haven't been happy with the performance of the kickdown switch. I don't like that it tries to kickdown even when I'm locked out of overdrive. Go full throttle and then bog because ignition cuts out...
I'm going to build a bracket to mount the switch under the dash along with the switch I have to cut power to the whole system. That way, it's all in one spot and I don't run the risk of accidentally hitting the floor switch with my foot
