I have some updates on the trucks history! I was pretty close haha the truck was bought new in 67 by the guy that lives across the street from me!! It was then sold to the guy that started his excavating company in 71. I cannot believe the original owner literally lives across the street from me i have so many questions to ask this guy... The person we got this truck from lives almost as close. What ive been told is that this truck is indeed an actual 1 ton and it came with a 396 BB? Is this possible? I thought all GM/Chev trucks 1/2ton to 1ton came with a 283 or a 327? Can anybody verify this? If it did come with a 396 stock i will be very happy haha
