Doug,

I could probably work them back into shape, but they would need to be refinished afterwards. Another problem with them is the fact that they don't have any baffles since they were modified to accept the breather and PCV. There is oil getting out there also.

I've never had good luck with stamped steel valve covers since I always tend to over-tighten them. It will put me ahead if I just get some valve covers with a stiff rail now. PML actually makes some cast valve covers that look like the original steel script covers, but they are $pendy.
