It's still an air pump that can only use so much air. You'd have to spice it up
a lot (not a bit) to outbreathe a stock head. Changing cylinder heads on their own will do nothing without changes in the cam, intake and exhaust...and even if you're changing all of that I doubt the heads will be the limiting factor given the displacement. Not to say that a 307 can't be a great engine - it is - but for a bit of spice a good intake and cam swap will give you the most bang for the buck.
