Yes, those pull clips work fine. Have you ever tried to undo a zip tie?
I used them to mount my electric fan on an aluminum rad on my 51 and all is good.
position the fan on the rad with the supplied pads/cushions, push the tabs through the fins of the rad, and tighten til snug. (don't crush the fins by over tightening)
