I know this is going to go against what everybody else is saying but here’s my two cents.
When I bought my truck, it came with the big White “Elephant Ear” mirrors.
For many year I want the fancy “Sport” mirrors, because they looked so good on the the trucks that I saw in shows and magazines.
So, I went and bought some Sport Mirrors and installed them in accordance with Factory measurements.
The first time I was out in Freeway traffic, I realized what a mistake I had made.
I gave it time, and made adjustments in the way I had to mitigate the blind spots from the little mirrors. I was gonna tough it out for “the Look”, but after I had the second mirror head loosened and fell off, I pulled them off and went back to the “Elephant Ears”.
Sexy looking? Matter of opinion.
Functional? Absolutely
