My 73 came new with a painted white front bumper, but a little later when I worked for the dealer I managed to snag a chrome bumper out of the scrap metal bin that had been replaced under warranty for some scratch that I couldn't even see. It was all about asking the
right manager for permission
Years later I think I gave the white bumper to some kid who had a Chevy pickup with a totally mangled front bumper.
