When i built my 496 stroker 2 yrs ago, they had just came out with the one piece gasket. I used it because BB chevs are like harleys, they always mark their territory!! hahaha
Been 2 yrs now and not a drop of oil has leaked from the pan gasket.
Well worth the extra investment .
