Having it aligned with more modern specs will help a lot. You want about .5 negative camber, as much caster as it'll adjust to, and 1/16-1/8" toe in.

The factory specs called for little to no caster, adding more will help straight line stability and will increase steering feel/feedback.

Sometimes power steering is over-assisted and makes the steering too easy, which makes it feel darty- especially with no caster. Borgeson makes a kit to reduce the output pressure of the pump to regain some steering feel/effort.
