i just put jeep lights in my 54, there is definitely some trimming of the headlight holder (not the bucket) but its not a lot. the jeep lights are deeper shallower, if that makes sense? the area at the ring is thicker top and bottom and the bulb area a little too, but I really like the fishbowl look!
edit: they were 10 bucks too, hard to beat that price for a DOT compliant beam pattern
