I used soap and water and then brake clean and let dry overnight. Self etching Primer went on great. But the top coat I used rustoleum auto enamel and it orange peeled bad. You could tell there was a reaction. Like painting bare aluminum. It just spots and pools. I waited an hour and it said 30min. I will do overnight next time.
What was your process for those pedals?
