Not making it taller... just making the hood opening smaller. This gets rid of the pinch weld on the hood that would normally sit right above the tire. I will post some more pics up tomorrow... hopefully it will start to make some more sense to ya!
Take a good look at the digital rendering in post #11... that gives a good visual of how the hood will open.
