Hey Trent. The stock oil pan on the 2014 and up truck L83 will not work without modifications to either the cross member or the oil pan. It's about 4 or 5 inches taller than the swap pan from Holley. I tried to make my L83 fit in my 72 C10 and quickly came to that realization. The motor would be too far back in the chassis if I allowed a safe oil pan ground clearance and wouldn't fit under the hood if I placed it over the cross member. The only solution my pea brain could muster was to clearance the cross member. It was quite the hack so I added all kinds of structure to the inside of the cross member before I closed it up. If I had waited longer it sure would have made it a lot easier.
