Re: 1973 Blazer Build/Resto... Input please!

Got it on the tailgate.
The rust is thru on the original, but maybe its localized, so I could slip roll a section of steel and weld it in. Seems that the aftermarket panels are thinner and no where near as good.

As the 454 needs a rebuild, I will assess the 350 first, and figure out how strong it is. Oil pressure is strong according to the gauge... LOL.
I have a oil pressure test gauge that will be more honest. Then a compression test will give me a better idea.

I am sure I could build a mild 454 that will do 400hp/500torque without too much $. That would be plenty... and sound good. This would not be my first BBC build!
Oh, here are the headers I have.

Good ness, I keep finding stuff that could work.

Set of five 16x10 Weld Stonecrushers that I set aside for another project.
They are 8 lug, but the adaptor for 6 lug are easy to find unless I do the axle upgrade.
