I had a 69 Impala for my first dedicated back and forth work car. 4 door, green, P/S, A/C, P/B, 327 with 350TH. Ran like a top until a guy hit me in the left rear 1/4 panel hard enough to shift the body on the frame. Kept the rally wheels and the 327, the rest went to the local salvage yard. Got stripped out pretty quickly on the interior and such.
WOW! I am impressed to get an answer back so quickly. And that it comes from a fellow who owned a 69 Impala makes the identification all that more valuable. I guess that is why the rear side has "IMP." on it. I am sad to hear of the early demise of your nice green car. I wonder if this bowtie fits any other years than the 1969? And I wonder how to find I good home for them? I suppose ebay might be the next place to go? Thank you Mr Ironhorse!
