May not have been the same but I recall my 65 Impala SS 300hp/327 had the old steel canister with the long thru bolt. Still remember the part number I used so many times back then: Fram CH200PL

Sure do wish I had never sold that car! It was a real runner, buckets, console, 4 spd, posi rear end, factory tach. Not one of my better thoughts back then.
