Seriously. The sour may balance out the sweet of the sugar and I'm guessing that baking them would kill any bacteria.

Nope, no sour milk in my Chocolate cake....
I don't have access to real sour milk any more. (don't use the pasturized stuff) so I use Buttermilk. It tastes just as good and I can get it at the grocery store. If you can't find Buttermilk you can use whole milk and vinegar mixed..... I made some cookies yesterday afternoon.... YUMMM!
