I do have a,spare, bought at a bootfair for £1.00 full face visor, and a spare auto dimmer welding mask that Mickey managed to break, like he often seems to do.

Will start with the clear visor.

Remember the steering rag joint?

I found a small (possibly Ford) UJ in my stash, had tried to give it away before…..

Now I may need it myself.

Advice time I guess.

What we have .

Splines look to be different size, but I think it is an optical illusion.

What I found.

Cut off the rag joint, reshape the shaft to triangular, bolt on the UJ?

Then there is this advice option.

Thanks to mate Edd @boidieanbdoyle for this.

Or a new rubber for 15quid? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Cort...-127635-2958-0

So grind/drill out rivets and bolt in replacement.

Conundrum?
