Just looking over all the comments and studying on this

You could take all the screws out of the dash pad.

Then leave it in place and lift if as little bit as Possible.

That way the dash pad will have minimum movement.

You would not have to remove it from the truck.

You just need a (Little Slack)

That way the speaker holes don't bust
