Then... on to another 1 day project that ended up taking 3. It's also been hot as balls out and I've gotten some serious sun.

The block was NASTY. That clay did not want to come out of the pores of that block. I'm not looking forward to the other side, it's worse with 4" of silt I have to remove before I can even start. That can wait... I did this side so I could get the side doors installed.


Then I realized the pointing was a little crappy. Then I realized it was REALLY crappy at the bottom AND there was extra bumped up concrete and mortar all over it. I plan to do a stone or block sidewalk up next to the building so it's best to get it all cleaned up now.
