gotta a ton of work done this weekend. Gotta thank my friend Neil for all the help. wire wheeled and wire brushed the frame. used kbs coating products. used the degreaser 50/50 mixed with hot water. scrubbed it on frame with scotchbrite pads, then rinsed and let dry. then used metal etcher with scotchbrite. Painted. Right now its 24hrs dry. Tried kbs instead of por15. Not a big fan. Won't be buying it again. Seems to hold up well, but the finish is awful. Can't tell from pics. No problems with por15 before, and I even prepped better with this stuff than i ever did with por. By the way this was the satin black can, as you can see it turns out glossy. Still have to finish scuffing and top coating. Then I'm onto fixing the firewall and heater core that i manhandled and broke the fitting off.
