What he said, but jack the front of the truck up until the wheels are off the ground.
Tighten the adjustment screw until it is snug. Then go and turn the steering wheel all the way left and all the way right and then back to the center. It should be easiy to turn but with little slack. Keep doing this until the slack is gone. Don't forget to tighten the jam nut.
