I wouldn't worry about it since the vent and return bulkhead fittings are on the opposite side of the fuel pickup and it has baffling foam (I'm not a big fan of the baffling foam especially for EFI applications) . I would be more concerned with the size of the vent and return fittings as they relate to the volume of the fuel supply of your system.
