Well, we figured it out at O'Reilly's. It was a bad positive feed wire from the main junction back to the battery. Problem is, that wire is crimped into the junction with a bayonet-type connector on the end of the wire.
The issue causing the problem was one of those evil little crimp connectors I am so fond of. Cut that segment out and re-connected to the battery and WOO HOO! It WORKS!! The key-start issue is solved too!
